Nestled near the centre of Queenstown's beautiful public gardens this local skatepark was designed by one of NZ's foremost park designers - Jason Parkes (very relevant name). It's full of skateable features including plenty rails, step-downs, stair sets and even a 13 foot deep keyhole bowl and super smooth concrete - what more could you want?

When the mountains are closed in summer this place absolutely hums with the towns large population of snowboarders switching to skating and spending their days riding concrete mountains instead. So pop down next time you're in the area and experience this legendary kiwi park first hand.

This wicked skate park has some awesome features and a great place to meet fellow skaters and even snowboarders down from the mountains. I love it!
