This Epsom cafe is a hidden gem for pie lovers. I visited on a wet, rainy afternoon and enjoyed one of the best beef cheek pies I have ever eaten. The pastry was light, flaky and a just-right texture while the savoury filling was full of chunky meat, excellent gravy and just a smattering of cheese. A delightful way to warm up during winter.

Small and cosy and nestled in the Greenlane village this little cafe provides a great local atmosphere and combines it with a high grade unique menu. Always changing with the season the food is fresh and inspired offering the chance to taste new flavour combinations and ingredients. The soup of the day special is always outstandingly good and comforting served with toasted bread it just what you need to fight the winter chills

If you want to find one of the best homemade pies in Auckland, go say hi to Cindy and Grey at Raven & Cook and try their beef cheek and mushroom pie. Their chicken pie is also the talk of the locals who love their Greenwoods Corner cafe.

best cafe nice

Best cafe food ever, menu is very different and amazing quality

#cafetab I love Raven and Cook because their food is amazing. Great interesting menu and a passionate chef who puts lots of love into all his food.

The menu is different to normal cafés, however, it’s easy to find something for everyone; my friend sampled their corned beef hash while I had a custom made dish. Definitely worth a visit!

Great Coffee and yummy food! Couldn't pick a better place for a coffee, lunch and a chat with the awesome staff :)

Match free fluffies for littlies with one of the more interesting café menus currently out there, and you've got the cosy environ of Raven & Cook. Located in an old fish and chip shop in the Greenwoods Corner block of shops, these guys really do go the extra mile to bring unique dishes to their customers' tables, including a great kids' menu. Friendly staff, who know how to offer great service too!

With interesting specials like grilled black pudding, kale and poached egg with hollandaise, and white asparagus wrapped in Bayonne ham with boiled Akarana hens blue egg and soldiers, Raven & Cook have ensured the loyal patronage of the community that surrounds their ex-fish shop quarters. Free fluffies don't hurt either!
