Recycle Boutique Hamilton

Ok, yes, it’s a second hand store - but they have an AWESOME selection of only-been-worn-once-or-twice-I’m-sure designer clothes from some of NZ’s best: Annah Stretton, Trelise Cooper, etc. I’ve picked up some absolute gems there (and no-one would even know you bought it second-hand!).

These guys are one step above the usual op shops when it comes to their clothing selection. They’re a wee bit more pricey in the clothing stakes, but it’s where I know I can pick up some awesome designer seconds that look like they’ve really only been worn a handful of times. Definitely a winner for locals looking for a party outfit!

Like op-shopping, but with less trawling. Everything these guys sell is deemed "fashionable" and they have pretty strict guidelines on quality and condition. Great if you’re searching for a new look for Spring, especially if vintage or retro is your style. Not as cheap as an op-shop, but there are still bargains up for grabs. Find them: 322 Grey Street.

Why pay full price for designer brands when Recycle Boutique have tons of winter stock? They’ve recently tightened up their guidelines, so you won’t find any cheap chain store brands on the racks, it’s only premium gear now - but still for a fraction of the price.
