    Delicious Japanese cuisine down in the Parnell den. Quick turnaround, cold beer and tasty Tempura make it the perfect place to start your sexy evening!

      Great salmon teriyaki. Have only dined a few times but all very pleasurable. Spico miso was nice too

        Great Japanese food! My personal favourite is the salmon teriyaki. It is moist and inside and crispy on the outside. Just perfect! The food is great value too. The service has always been prompt as well. Highly recommended!

            I can't recommend Renkon enough to people - you just can't beat them on flavour, value and friendliness. Each branch is run by Japanese staff, all the dishes are well priced, and generously portioned, served quickly and most importantly very delicious. Great for lunch or dinner, there's no reason to visit any other place for a donburi or udon soup. My favourite is the misodare chicken udon, but I also recommend their side dishes, especially the renkon (literally lotus root) chips for a unique experience. If you're not already a Renkon fan, you will be after you visit!

              Quick, cheap Japanese that’s always good

                Renkon never fails to please. The service, menu offerings, atmosphere and food are always a stand out, its a no brainer. Our flat favourites are the deep fried tofu and the salmon sauce katsu. Where else in Parnell can you get an awesome meal for $12? 

                  Ahhh Renkon. How many wonderful lunch times we have had together. Your luscious tofu salad, your stunning okonomiyaki on a stick, your crispity crunchy yet juicily tender karaage chicken. I love you for your brightly painted basement dinginess and above all your smiley happy staff.
