Ristorante Pizzeria da' Toni is run by enthusiastic Italian Roberto Lombardi who also owns Café la Dolce Vita. The son of restaurateurs, he fell in love with NZ after a 1990 holiday, opening Timaru 's Casa Italia and Dunedin's Café Bella Verona. He later sold both and relocated to Te Anau in 2004 with his wife Christina who is a talented chef.

Named after son Antonio, the licensed restaurant features some interesting Italian decorative pieces with seating inside and out. Try their authentic wood-fired pizzas or delicious homemade pastas followed by a gelato from the cart parked outside.
