Sal's Pizza in New Zealand was started by 2 longtime friends - Nick from Auckland, NZ and Ciaran from Queens, New York.

The name comes from Salvatore 'Sal' Leo, who owns Sal's Pizza in Queens and shared with Ciaran his legendary recipes. Nick, who spent four years of university in the US, always wished there was a place in Auckland where you could get a great slice of New York-style pizza. So in 2008 Nick and Ciaran decided to make this dream a reality by opening Sal's Pizza in Auckland.

Now anyone can go in an grab a slice of authentic NY-style pizza, half a world away from the original.

Best Pizza house.

    Brilliant flavour and awesome size. Massive treat for my kids. The half and half also keeps the kids happy when they share an 18" Pizza.

      These guys aren't kidding! Their pizza is the biz! Our local go to fav for cheat dinner night.

        Friendly service and nice flavours

          2 pieces is all you'll need at this place, they are huuuuuuuge. Classic NY styled pizza washed down with a cold Coke, perfect.

                  My first time to Sal’s. Got one half n half pizza and it was heavenly. Took about 25 mins to arrive though, but so so good. Wow. The pizza’s are also enormous. Big thumbs up for this place.
