Sale & Pepe on Parnell Road is authentic Italian food at its best. Their extensive menu includes the sought after options of carbonara and spaghetti bolognese, and then extends to a selection of carefully constructed meals, like steak wrapped in bacon, pan fried with apple, pistachio and shallots in honey, and the fish of the day with prawns and white wine. And that's just the mains. With equally appealing starters, desserts, and a beverage list including Italian wines, dessert wines, and after dinner espressos, the restaurant will not be a one-time visit.

Went to Sale & Pepe for dinner and the food and service were amazing. Best seafood I have eaten in a long time. Have recommended to many people and would definately go back

    I bought a voucher off Grab one and my partner & I went to Sale & Pepe a couple of friday nights ago and the food and service were amazing.  We both had the Fritti di sale e pepe (seafood) starters, came out perfectly cooked seafood and piping hot, freshest seafood I've had in a long time.  Mains my partner had the Filetto Frutta Secca - Scotch fillet wrapped in bacon, pan fried with apple, pistachio & shallots in a honey vinegar & mustard sauce. and I had the Pesce del Giorno - Fish of the day with Prawns fresh herbs olive oil & white wine. Food here is amazing and we will definately be back.    

      If you're after home made pasta this hits the spot. Delicious and cooked al dente. The spinach and ricotta in creamy sauce was fantastic.     The antipasto platter (which I usually never go for, always ends up feeling like I've been served from the deli section from the supermarket) was really great. The specialty cheese choices and quality prosciutto pate was great. Also came with sun dried tomatos, pickled onions and anchovies. They also swapped out the grissini for bread at my request.    This place wasn't packed on a Friday night so I'm glad they'll generally be able to take last minute bookings. Will be back!
