Love this place, especially the weekend summer markets- Saturday/Sunday, 12pm-6pm. Digging through the piles of vintage clothing, accessories, and downright oddities is both fun and rewarding- there's everything from cheap art prints to sunglasses. The food stalls right next door are also irresistible and there are often free Swing dancing lessons in front of them, it's just all very cute.

Silo Park hoop is a favourite haunt for many inner city (basket)b ballers who get together and play into the early hours. Arriving just before midnight the group of youth come from inner city and surrounds come to hang out at the hoop. The park is at the inner edge of the Wynyard quarter. The Waitemate harbour running along the foreshore, the area originally came to life in 2011 when the World Cup was hosted here. The restaurant strip is a well thought out the drawbridge extension is a walkway through to the waterfront marina where the restaurants and bars continue to the Downtown and Harbour area. It is a great fun area for the whole family. The tuk tuk drivers too, can be found waiting for takers in the Downtown square,.The Information Centre, Harbour ticket offices and Naked and Mana buses all can be found along from Silo Park on Quay Street. Silo Park not to be confused with the theatre of the same name, is a great late night entertainment area, the citylink buses run every 10 minut to Silo Park and stop conveniently direclty behind the hoop, yet another reason it is the place to go to for many because of its ease of access. Popular with apartment dwellers and tourists the area has evolved into a community hub someting for everyone.

A cool spot to bring kids or people from out of town. There's nice views, lots of great restaurants and bars, and lots of entertainment too from the markets to cinema in summer, it's a great addition to downtown Auckland.

Visiting the summer market and relaxing watching a film projected on to the concrete silo with a blanket and a bottle of wine! Not to mention the selection of great food trucks!

Great playgrounds and night time movies

Silo Park has been awesome in bringing Wynyard Quarter to life, with all sorts of markets, fairs and even open air cinema on Fridays making this space an amazing inner-city hotspot.

Good to have a look around in, even if dark.

Had fun stumbling around this area after a good night out in town. Good place with quirky attractions to spend an evening date in with the special someone! :D

Such a cool setup, with loads of events for the whole family. The outdoor cinema is always one of my favourite nights to spend with friends - amazing food stalls, a great atmosphere, with classic and future classic films!

Silo Park is an amazing venue. I have been a vendor there at some events and at other times been there perusing. The inventive use of the Silos to create a quirky and functional arena has made an otherwise odd space into a city highlight.
