The iconic Sky Tower is in the heart of Auckland City and has always been a part of our lives living in Auckland. From having dinners with family to clubbing out with friends Sky Tower is always something I remember when I think of Auckland and feel nostalgic when i see pictured of it when i travel out. #Blackmores

It's a Winter Wonderland at the Sky Tower these school holidays! Go along with the kids - there's a treasure hunt, arts & crafts station and the kids can design their own mitten or 3D snowflake. Free hot chocolate and cookies for the kids to keep them going, too.

Best view in town!

Give them the best view of the city from the top of the tower, stop by a restaurant on your way down.

Go for a SkyWalk, dinner or just enjoy the view.

There are two activities you can do on the Sky Tower - walk around it and hang off the ledge which is pretty scary - as well as do the Sky Jump and do a controlled descent down to street level, which is a quick way to get down!

The Sky Walk at the Sky Tower is an amazing experience! Even though it is terrifying for those afraid of heights, the security of your tether and the fact that you’re not actually jumping from anything makes it a little easier to stomach.

A must-have gift for any friend or relative lucky enough to be visiting Auckland - show them a great time & the best view they could hope to have...!

Not to be missed! Amazing 360 degree views! Great restaurants. You can even bungee off the top or walk around the outside.

and the sky tower is tied for my first-favourite place to view it from -- sharing the #1 spot with Mt. Eden, of course.  The elevator ride up is fun (well, not if you're afraid of heights...), the plexiglass floor sections are trippy, and the view is just gorgeous. I've been multiple times, and recommend going around twilight so you can see the city in the sunlight, and as the lights go on :]
