If you had ever thought that sandwiches were lame and were only for the 40 year old office guy who still lives with his mum then I’m going to say that you are potentially too cool for your own good. Seriously, sandwiches are where it’s at. You don’t need fancy exotic lunch options to be the envy of your workmates, you just need a Sliced sandwich. This is next level sandwich making, with gourmet ingredients and fresh artisan bread. These are sandwiches that would put a 1950’s housewife to shame. The best part is, you can have exactly what you want in it because they make it from scratch, ok so maybe not the bread, but the rest of it… from scratch!

    Sliced Lunch Bar on Richmond Road in Grey Lynn is home to the best sandwich filling selection in town in my humble opinion, as well as epic salad offerings and more. Their blackboard sign outside shows the special of the day, and is pretty impossible to drive past without pulling in for a purchase.

      Great local cafe

        These guys make the best homemade snadwiches ever. It's like a way better version of Subway. They recommend tasty combos and the food is fresh and tasty. Get in there and get a sandwich! Coffee has been a little hit and miss though. 

          This great little cafe is recently under new management and makes beautiful food and the best smoothies you will find!! Great place to pick up a coffee and a quick bite to eat on the run, I hear Their soups are to die for too!!
