I'm really glad to see that Spookers has done well and is still in business. It is a bit of a drive to get to it, but you will be impressed once you get into it. The actors are all very good at what they do, right down to the people at the front door. I can recommend the corn field when operating (usually a summer thing) and of course the house. This was an actual institution for people with mental disabilities so it really goes with that theme well.

This place is THEE coolest place to be! Seriously, such an original idea! Who wouldn't want to get the crap scared out of them!? The actors are so talented and do their job so well, I've been here twice and still got scared the second time round! It's a really good time Spookers, great for events like birthdays, and what I love is that they have so many specials. Birthday people get in free, you can find half price coupons at the back of receipts, they've always got deals on their photos! I love Spookers, if you're visiting NZ it's a great place to go for a random, entertaining scare! :P

It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark Under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes You're paralyzed... OK so maybe playing Thriller in the car before we got to Spookers may not have been the best idea, but it certainly set the mood, we got there and parked up and from behind a tree this demented looking Zombie shuffled towards us causing all the girls in our group to walk around him, and as we got closer there were more and more ghouls and zombies and assorted weird looking characters. The make up and costumes are amazing, and the way it is set up is awesome. The building part is cool as you have no clue where you are going it's dark and then suddenly something jumps out at you, or something grabs your arm. Not for the faint hearted at all, a great night out and if you can go when it's dry so you can enjoy the outdoor areas. We have been 3 times this year, and due to go again in a couple of weeks in a big group.

Spookers is great fun and very unique. We were really nervous our first time because we didn't know what to expect. We went the weekend before Halloween so apparently there were less characters than normal, but still we had a great time. The set up at Kingseat is great and really adds to the overall experience. We would definitely go again and recommend that everyone tries it if you're looking for something different!

I went with a group of friends for a night out and had a really good time. It is quite an eerie place and it does get a bit spooky. We did the forest and the house. The house was creepy - hands coming out of walls etc and you get short sharp shocks from things as you go through. I found the forest better - more scary and thrilling. This is a unique place, something you have to try if thats what your interested in and going with girls is more fun that with guys - they dont seem to get as scared!! Cant wait to try the maize fields!!
Came here on my friends birthday, with happened to be on a Friday 13th. The place was packed! As I had never been here before, I was freaking out as I did not know what to expect. We had a dinner beforehand and the staff were great. The food that was offered was a vairty of finger foods, which there were HEAPS of. It was a bit annoying though, but when you're trying to eat some of the actors where in the room as well, pouncing on you, which was irritating but at the same time, trying to get you into the mood of what was to come. One let down was when doing the cornfield maze, we could hear but didn't end up seeing the guy with the chainsaw and it was SUPER muddy. But overall was a great night out.
I have been twice and both times have been equally scary, fun, hilarious and exhilarating! The haunted house has been made up so well, every room is a real surprise. The actors are very professional and really dedicated to scaring the hell out of you and making sure you have a good time ( I swear those guys have the best job). My favourite was the cornfield where being chased by a guy with a chainsaw had our group screaming and laughing so hard. A great option for a group who are looking for something a bit different and fun - leave any drama queens at home!

OMG had such a awesome time here at Spookers they really scared the hell out of me lol it was so funny. you have so many options to choose from. the Haunted house is so scary i had such a great time. The make up and costumes is so really you really feel like you are in a horror movie. everyone must come get a good old scare at this place.
