 Our old couch has had a hard life, we purchased it in the UK and it was one of the few bits of furniture that came with us when we moved to New Zealand. I love it because it is so comfortable to snuggle in to. Sadly the covers have not taken to life in New Zealand very well, the sun has rotted and faded the fabric so it was time to either get a new couch or look at recovering.  The easiest option was to buy a new one but after searching high and low couldn't fine one we liked as much as the old one so recovering was the way to go. We found Nick ad in the local paper and he come around to inspect the couch bringing lots of fabric samples with him. Although he had heaps of fabric to choice from I had already found the fabric so he was able to tell me how many metres I would need to get. We then organised a time for him to come and pick up the couch. It was going to take a couple of weeks and we were Ok with this as we would be away for one of them any way. The time went quickly and before we knew it the couch was back in its rightful home looking splendid with its new covers. The workmanship was excellent even better than the original ! Pricing wise it can be expensive depending on the fabrics you choose but if you have a piece of furniture which love it is well worth the investment. We will get a good few more years from our couch now.
