This café may be modest from the outside, but it has a truly urban courtyard out the back and simple seating inside in an unpretentious environment.

The food is great and inexpensive and the coffee is consistently excellent.

Service is friendly, personal and fast, and the customers are an interesting mix.

My local cafe, the food is always fresh and the portions are always large for the price you pay. When I am hungry I go here, the service is great and the owners are lovely. Business is always appreciated and the food is always lovely for a very affordable price. #splorelocal

    Lovely litte garden at the back where you can eat. Good food.

      This is my favourite cafe. The meals are huge and $15 or less, the coffee is fantastic, and the courtyard in the back is cosy and bright.

          Strawberry alarm clock is my favourite cafe in Parnell, and one of my favourites in general. The food is good value, delicious and plentiful. The flat whites are incredible and the chai lattes similarly top notch. All that, plus lovely staff and an absolutely adorable courtyard out back makes this a fantastic Sunday brunch destination. Or any day really. Yum!

              Friends were in from out of town and wanted to sit outside. This place has a hidden courtyard put the back which makes you forget you are in the middle of the city. Brilliant coffee and a not too shabby menu makes this a winner. Perfect for a date with mates.
