Best Yoga place I have been to! Barbara is such an amazing teacher in tune with each persons abilties

Yoga at its best; mindful, gentle, meditative and a great start to the day.

My weekly class at Svastha Yoga has got to be one of the best things I do for myself. The focus during the class is on breath - letting the breath lead the movement  - which leaves you feeling calm and centred. The classes are small and the practice tailored to the energy and needs of the students on the day, which means the practice is  safe - challenging yet within the boundaries of what is realistic for each student. Barbara runs the studio and teaches with integrity and respect for yoga in the true, holistic sense of the word. If you're looking for an authentic yoga practice, you will love Svastha Yoga.

I practised at Svastha Yoga with Barbara during my pregnancy and now along with my bubba (we are on our second mums and bubs course now) and I can't recommend it highly enough.  Barbara takes a very personal approach to the practice.  She listens to you and develops a very individual practice based on your ability, your body and any injuries you may have.  I have tried various styles of yoga, including Bikram, and this is without doubt the best and I encourage anyone who is just starting out with yoga to give this one a try.  You won't regret it!! ;)

I have been going to yoga with barb both through pregnancy, with my baby and now on my own. She knows all of her students so well and it’s so relaxing and great time out.

My instructor Barbara is fantastic at engaging with students but in a gentle, lulling voice.  I love the breathing aspect of the yoga and found myself to be in the best health mentally and physically after my sessions last year.  Now a new year and I desperately want to go back.  The morning classes are a superb way to start the day re-energised and blissed out. ;-) HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I'd never done yoga before but went during pregnancy to help avoid back problems which I have had in the past. It was amazing how relaxing it was and I didn't get a sore back at all. Now that Bubs has arrived I'd love to be back in the class to relieve a bit of tension again! Would totally recommend it.
