Best Indian I've ever had. I'm a seasoned vet of London's Brick Lane Indian restaurants before they went all homogenised and Tayyabs in Whitechapel as well as a good but short stint in their motherland. Tandoori Hutt Halal takeaways is quite possibly the best Indian I've ever eaten. Or, maybe on a par with some of the dishes I devoured in India. Whatever- get to this hutt, order plenty so you get seconds and some for tomorrow. You'll yearn for any excuse to go back there. The butter chicken was devine. Everything I've eaten from there is amazing. The price is very reasonable. Selection, plentiful but not too much to get confusing. Not sit down. It's a hole in the wall.
I discovered this amazing, "A" food rated little restaurant last week. We haven't got a ktichen at the moment and have been loving the tandoori chicken with its spicy sauce and little salad. Its such great value, absolutely delicious, and generous portions. Plus the staff are lovely people. #plantae
This is the definition of a Great Little Find! Tandoori Hutt is hands-down the best tandoori takeaway joint in the greater Auckland region. This hole-in-the-wall in Sandringham can be located at night by its illuminated green sign and once inside I guarantee your stomach will start rumbling and your mouth will begin to water because this is tandoori at its best. My fave is their crispy, spicy Tandoori chicken but the prawns are pretty darn good too! And don't forget the naan - buttery goodness! Get in my belly....
i had a great diner at tandoori hutt.. i never taste that kind of food in auckland even in Newzealand which they people served me...in a very cheep rate. it was greet experince with new food and also frndly staff of tandoori hutt...so this is my personal advice to the people go there and enjoy the food .
