Taste Cafe is a popular little cafe located in central Masterton. Known for its delicious gourmet pies, you can choose from a range of great fillings including pork and apple, lamb and mint or their famous peppersteak pie. With large chunks of meat and tasty sauces, they fly off the shelves at lunchtime.
They also sell hearty breakfasts and lunch meals, or choose from a cabinet of freshly baked cakes, sandwiches and salads. With friendly staff and homely decor, it's a great place to relax with a coffee at one of their window tables and watch the world go by.

It lives up to its name - this cafe serves seriously tasty food and is a great option for brunch. There’s plenty of options from delicious pastas, salads, yummy brunch fare and amazing pies. The coffee is good and the service is excellent, a perfect start to ease into a lazy Sunday.

    Well known for its tasty gourmet pies, their deep dish, perfect crust pies are worth the $7, which is slightly high on the pie cost scale. Try the peppersteak or one of the many options including lamb and mint, pork and apple, beef red wine and onion or butterchicken. There’s plenty of other food options too and great coffee.
