In my books, this is truly my favourite Taupo local farmers markets. It’s where the best of Taupo produce and produces come out in all their fine local yummy glory. It’s the IT place to be to bag total bargains on local pickles, sausages, arts and crafts. It’s totally worth the early Saturday morning visit too.

This is a great local favourite. Held weekly on a Saturday mornings, this is where you should go to find the best of local produce, arts and crafts and meet the locals - a must if you happen to be up early and in Taupo one fine Saturday morning.

I love, love, love markets - the food, the crafts, the throngs of people looking for a bargain. Everything about a market just buzzes with energy. Taupo's Riverside Market on Saturday mornings has some delicious goodies for you to take home, cupcakes galore, and great coffee. A great place to bump into that family friend you haven't seen for ages too.

If you have ever been to Taupo during a Saturday morning then you must know that the Riverside Market is where everyone heads. There is a little stall there which specialised in hand made chocolates. Cherry makes deliciously rich, smooth truffles and Russian fudge. So if you are looking for some unique and boutique Easter chocolates then pop down to see here. You're welcome to even try a nibble or two before you buy.
