Great stop off on the way back home after shopping downtown. The Barrow man has a huge range of soft cheeses at ridiculously low prices, bries which are perfect for pan frying and serving with fresh berry fruit

The Barrow offers a spot to collect something on the way home, whether a bottle of wine or cheese and crackers. There's a good selection of wine, and the staff have been helpful in suggesting the right tipple. There's often good specials on cheeses and some of the European sweet delights and deli foods on offer. It also offers a healthy, and delicious lunch a little different from the usual fast food outlets offer you in the mall. The winter warmers are always a treat in winter and salads are reasonably priced and good sized portions are on offer.

Great place to source interesting herbs and spices, along with other deli items.

The Barrow is an awesome little delicatessen in Westfield Downtown. They have delicious filled baguettes for lunch, and a yummy selection of salads. Add to this food from all over the place! It's a very unique shop. Great for buying something out of the ordinary to eat and the prices are reasonable too

This is a perfect little niche to drop by on the way home from work if you're feeling like a little port wine and cheese to treat yourself, or maybe some ingredients for your next gathering with friends. There's some international confectionary here, too, and some of the more obscure wines (at more obscure prices!) that you won't usually find in your local bottleshop. A handy tip: drop by at the end of the day and catch the sales on their cheeses and platter foods. Cheeses by nature should be consumed around about their retail 'expiry' so not only will you get the best tasting morsel for a fraction of the price, but also keep your eyes peeled for some delicious conserves and quince jellies to pair. Friendly staff round off this neat little delicatessen, a little spot not unlike one you'd find in a corner of Lille or Strasbourg.
