The food was delicious but their service was pretty poor - took 10 mins and 2 reminders to get a hot chocolate and they forgot one of the meals - two reminders (again) later and it arrived just as the rest of us were finishing ours

        The Block is the perfect local cafe. Friendly staff, awesome coffee and amazing food. It makes me happy every time I walk through the doors.

          This place has a great atmosphere and service and a really fab menu.

            Great local cafe. The date and orange scones are the best!

              A big favourite! Fab food, stylish decor great indoor/outdoor seating… Outdoor is best though

                  A fab addition to our neighbourhood & what a little gem in Blockhouse Bay. Excellent steak & bernaise sauce for $25.. comes with giant crunchy fries, an egg, vine tomatoe and a little jug of gravy (tasted very similar to the one at JSH). This place is our regular spot for lunch.

                    Amazingly good food at reasonable prices in a friendly atmosphere -- what more could you want in an eatery?
