The Block Cafe is a great place for a casual evening meal with a glass of wine.

The attentive, friendly staff have an excellent knowledge of the wine and menu selections. The food is wonderful and everything is delivered in a timely fashion. Couple this with pleasant surrounding and it’s hard to beat.

        A stylish cafe that serves good coffee and food in the heart of Blockhouse Bay.

          Soup was amazing.

            Love this new place. Want to check this place out for dinner as well as the cafe for brunch. Try the hand cut fries.

              The avocado on house muffins was delish however they used way to many sauces which overpowers the overall taste.

                    At last a heavenly cafe in MY neighbourhood.  Up till now we've had to drive to the city or a suburb a good distance away and "...no you cant drink if you're driving". I have watched The Block blossom over the last few weeks and finally today took the plunge and went for lunch.   Wow... even an OMG.  Great food, excellent service and the best steak and bernaise we've had in a very long time.  Add to that a fabulous wine and we truly are in heaven. At last, thank god... close to home.  Fab food, good service and well a place of quality not often found in these regions. Thank you for opening in my neighbourhood.   We will be back... regularly.   The coffee is fab too.  Atomic fab. Also I enquired about private do's.. to be told they are doing up a room just for this very very soon... Birthday party issue 1.... solved!
