Can’t believe I only just found this place! Great food, love the giant salad bowls! Staff were super friendly and the courtyard area is great with its fold back roof. Will definitely be coming back here very soon.

    The seating was good, the menu had a wide range, and the staff were friendly. The food came out after a good time so overall it was a nice place and I recommend trying it out.

      Came here for lunch- still quite busy- good sign. Was nice. Got to sit in the dining area with the comfy couches. Good service- food came out in good time. Loved the garlic pizza bread, also had the beef thai salad and gourmet lamb pizza. Love that they had vouchers! Keen to come here for dinner

        Came here tonight with the voucher from the Localist store- got two Rekorderlig - delicious + bacon cheese wedges + cherry tomato bruschetta- lovely! Great service, friendly staff. Nice layout- indoor & outdoor with tables for dining as well as high backed chairs & ottomans. Recommend highly. Have another voucher to use- can't wait!

          Great place to sit outside in the sun and have some drinks and tapas with your friends!

            Photo looks good

            Discovered this place for the first time last night.  Great atmosphere.  had a laid back night out, good food huge range of drinks great setting. Had a huge makover from what I remember it being and well worth it.

              Came to the elephant wrestler after work today to meet some girlfriends for.drinks and nibbles. The atmosphere was bubbly and it was very busy. I think.this was because their outdoor area was the most sheltered in takapuna so everyone had flocked here to avoid the wind. We shared wine and sliders which were so yummy and perfect for the group- will.definately return!!

                This place is awesome. Went there on a Sunday avo and it was packed. Great outdoor bar area – sun was beaming in and it created a really great atmosphere. We had a few different starters – the chicken skewers, the salt and pepper squid, and the risotto balls – they were all perfect. Another friend in the group had the risotto as a main and she was raving about it. Will definately back at TEW in the near future for a full meal (and a few cold Heinekens!)

                  Like this place. BIG menu wurh lots to choose from. Took a friend here Sat morn for lunch and we both really enjoyed it. 4 entres, Salmon salad and 2 glasses if wine $72.50.

                    After a fabulous dinner at the Elephant Wrestler we discovered they have great specials! This is one place you must make a regular! From memory Monday night is 2 for 1 meals Tuesday is another special Wednesday is curry night Well worth going during the week especially seeing the staff are friendly, the place is clean and tidy and food is great! A great Shore location with a great outdoor space!
