The best thing is that they host swing dancing regularly. Otherwise the food is standard indeed. The vegetable filo and salad was great but the pizza had only very sparse toppings and way too much cheese and the fries were rather floppy. There are a couple of nice seating options, but each time I was there I found it a bit chilly as they always have the door open.
Local Kingsland Bar, been there for quite a while, inside is nothing flash, they now have an outdoor area as well with screen etc. Went there for dinner , food was standard bar food, served pretty quick (although it was quiet) and have no complaints and no raves, standard stuff. Quiz night is Wednesday, that seems pretty popular - over all what you see, and what you might think is what you will get here.
