The Fridge Cafe in Kingsland is bustling every day of the week and it's not hard to see why.

Alongside the yummy brunch menu, there's also a veritable cornucopia of delicious cabinet options - vibrant and fresh salads, wraps, paninis, sandwiches and their legendary gourmet pies that are definitely worth all the hype. Arrive early in the weekends if you don't want to miss out!

If you still have room after that, there's still a massive range of their homemade sweet treats to choose from. Try the rocky road or carrot cake, they're everyone's favourites.

the food is amazing. lots of vgetarian options available. service could be better. but hey the food is so great that service snags are acceptable.

    The pies here are awesome. Under new management which leaves something to be desired but the food and coffee is still awesome. Can be crazy busy to get served at times.

        So busy in here you struggle to get a seat. Totally worth it if you do though. Eggs Bene is not my favourite dish normally, but The Fridge does them with a twist, instead of muffins, hash cakes. Delicious! My partner said his big breakfast was the best he has had in Auckland…. Massive call! Can’t wait to go back and try their pies!

          It is an occupational hazard working so close to the delicious food at the Fridge. If you are in the neighbourhood during the day it is worth popping in. Check out the previous love - they are world famous for their pies! Mmmm pies…

            I love the hot pies from The Fridge in Kingsland. I find it hard to go by without buying one and I have tried just about every different flavour. My favourite is the Moroccan Lamb - a winter classic!

                The Pies here are so good.  Real food, not filled with gravy or the likes with a bit of meat, chicken etc. Their Afghan cookies are pretty delicious too.

                    Aside from perhaps the butter chicken pie from Mobil On the Run gas stations, The Fridge has hands down the best pies in Auckland. It’s a great spot to grab a pastry pocket of goodness and a coffee. My personal favourites are the mince, potatoe and cheese pie and the Morrocan lamb pies. The cabinet food is also great and the staff quirky. Don’t be flaky, get amongst.
