The Homestore - Newmarket

Be careful going in here looking for a gift, as you may come out with a bunch of stuff for yourself, too. If you’re into tea or cake decorating like I am, you will love spending time in The Homestore. So many teapots! And they have heaps of Wilton cake tools that you can’t always get other places.

The Homestore is full of amazing kitchen items, they have a great range of almost everything you could think of for baking, prep, cake decorating, party supplies, knives, appliances etc etc. Their prices also vary a lot, they have some cheaper items, great for gifts, and also a lot of high quality, expensive items - so they cater for a wide range of people. The service is ok - although it took about 20 minutes of browsing before anybody greeted me when I went in today.

I could spend hours in this store getting lost amongst all the beautiful Homeware n baking goods, have purchased a few items n found the service to be ok - very standard, nothing amazing.

For anyone who loves to spend time in the kitchen this is the place for you.  The Homestore is a massive store dedicated to fill your house with the best kitchen gear.  You can find an array of supplies for coffee making, baking, cooking, entertaining, cooking attire aka aprons, oven mitts and so much more. I myself love the baking section.  I can happily get lost in the baking tins and cake decorating supplies.  So make sure you give yourself some time as this place has great gadgets that you will want to explore more deeply.

If you're looking for an engagement present or that hard to buy for mother-in-law then check out the home store. It's quite pricey but it's worth it to have everything in one place. They wrap for free too!

I LOVE The Homestore. I popped in recently, just out of the blue, and found some cupcake/cake decorating sprinkles that I had looked nearly everywhere for. This place has a great variety of baking and decorating goodies, and their prices are pretty reasonable too. I have, and will continue to, recommend The Homestore as the place to get those sorts of items from. They also have a mailing list which means you get get regular updates about specials and events - for example, they recently had Wilton Cupcake decorating demonstrations ahead of the SPCA Cupcake Day. Overall, this place is just the best. If you are in need of any baking or goodies for decorating your baking, pop-in here and you won't be disappointed.
