The Joyful Vegan is a family run business established in 2011. The only dedicated vegan cafe in Dunedin, they sell a range of delicious food items from their quirky caravan at the Otago Farmer's Market on Saturdays.

Using high quality and wholesome ingredients, many of which are sourced from other market vendors, you can sit on one of the small tables beside the caravan and enjoy burritos, tacos, burgers, wraps, salads, soups, cakes, daily specials and more.

Alternatively, grab some of their hugely popular multigrain or gluten-free breads to take home.

I love the Joyful Vegan. This food truck in the Otago Farmers Market is awesome for their cruelty-friendly desserts and savoury delights.

    Joyful is the only all Vegan café in Dunedin. It’s only open on Saturdays at the Otago Farmers Market so I always make an effort head on down there, rain or shine, to take my pick from their amazing vegan baked cakes and other sweet delights.
