This is a nice casual lakeside retreat to spend some time overlooking the brooding mountain that erupted unexpectedly in 1886. They have good breakfast, brunch and dinner options and the view is amazing.

    This is a handsome and classic pub which has been serving the Katikati community for more than 100 years. It cooks up some good pub food and restaurant meals. I love to sit in the amazing garden bar under the giant avocado tree.
