I love this place, it really is magical. Wandering through these giant, red trunks is such an experience. If you’re the kind of person who likes to get back to nature or do something wholesome (and free!) then this is the place for you. It’s an awesome place for locals and visitors alike.

    One of the most beloved spots in Rotorua. The Redwoods is a paradise for familys, lovers, runners, walker and mountain bikers. Head into the great information centre and pick up a free mountain biking or walk track map and chat to the friendly staff who are more than happy to help plan your trail.

      Great tracks for all levels of fitness. Very refreshing being in the forest.

        Naturally beautiful

          Love taking the kids on the Discovery trail and exploring. End the adventure with an ice-cream in the shade. Kids love it too.

            My favourite place to run (or walk).. fantastic surroundings.

              Take a hike, go mountain biking, walk your dog, go horse riding - if you want to hang out in a gorgeous forest this is a great place to do it! Take a picnic and have a cheap day out!
