My grandma used to live in this neighbourhood and, as a teenager who was into grunge and Nirvana, I was a regular shopper at this hidden gem of an Auckland Cop Shop. The Salvation Army Family Store in Browns Bay is big and full of excellent finds - whether it’s antiques, clothing or homeware that you enjoy bargain hunting for most. Plus if you go mid-week, there’s barely anyone there so you can while away hours in this wicked little spot.

    A Sally store in Browns Bay where there are many other op shops- if you are so inclined. A good browse for many things for a good price and for a good cause, win win. It's a huge store. Worth the browse. Have seen quite a few wonderful things!
