I frequent op-shops and the like with this being one that frequently catches my eye. I've bought several items there. The volunteers are quite polite and helpful. The facilities for trying on clothes are a bit small (as is the store) but all in all, it's worth visiting.

I find this Salvation Army store a bit hit and miss.  Some items seem, to me, to be quite over-priced for what they are.  If you're prepared to have a good hunt and spend some time in this store though, you can generally find something that is a reasonable bargain. I imagine it would be more worth it when they have sales, but I never seem to strike it when they have a sale on.

Great place to hunt for bargains. One of my fav areas to go op shopping. This sallies has a back store with large furniture then a front store with bric a brac and clothing....and to top it off there is actually another op shop next door. Good will shopping at its finest.

Great store lovely staff :)

very handy the Sally Army store being next door to my favourite cafe (vinyl) so in for a quick visit this weekend while they've got a sale on. They had 50% off most things. Picked up some CDs, books and a solid wood tray. The stock is well organised and for the amount of people coming and going they keep it pretty tidy. Got a Belle & Sebastian CD I hadn't seen before and went for a wild card (band I'd never heard of before) which turned out to be good. Gonna see if the boys at work like it on Monday. My partner got a couple of fluted Wedgewood plates.

Hey thanks for the tip! LOVE browsing thru op shops and this one sound well worth a visit. Thanks :)

Don’t forget to pay a visit to the furniture store out back I got my bed base from here for $20 and it has lasted 5 years. When I moved into my house this was my first apartment n I had nothing so brought a table bed base couch all from here all for a reasonable price. They even delivered it. N when I wanted to send back the couch because I was buying a new one I just called them n they picked it right up

Sometimes you find a favourite that you just keep coming back to. This is a well organised and easy to navigate op shop. Plenty or parking and lovely staff. A big variety of things to purchase, reasonably priced and plenty of bargains to be found! Sometimes there will be the odd treasure too, well worth a look I'd say! Check it out today!

I never fail to find something good when I come here on my way home from work. Lots of clothes available to try on and helpful staff. Priced so that they keep their stock rotated, which works well with my wallet ! Down the back they have furniture, books, music and electronic equipment as well, but I rarely make it down there. A must visit !

For the first time yesterday, I finally made it around the back alleyway behind the Salvation Army store. There is a room PACKED full of cheap, cheap furniture all for your thrifty, stylish living. I'm not into the cookie cutter beige home decor and I needed a new table. I came out with a formica beauty and a fabulous 60's floral couch - all for $90. I dragged my flatmate back later and he grabbed two more tables to use as desks for $50. You really need to poke around because there are amazing treasures buried deep. The staff were too busy to move around things, but hey - it's a week before Xmas and it's a charity so I don't mind. Free delivery (there might be a wait for this - but again, free) and the good feeling of reusing and adding more character to your home.
