A great place for a classic kiwi-style party, Suitcase Bar is one of the places that regularly pumps in Ohakune, partnering with the likes of Red Bull to bring music acts into town.
They also do excellent meals and have a French chef in-house to create delicious meals that fill up hungry bellies after a day in the mountain air.

This place is awesome for a good pub meal, and a game of pool. Serving up some good quality grub to Ohakune locals, the staff are super friendly, on-to-it, and provide some great table service. I'm a big fan of their fish and chips there too (again, enough to share between two people - the portions are massive!).
With a French chef now serving up classic meals inspired by his home country, the Suitcase Bar is not only a good place to go for a night out, now the food is also better than its ever been before. After boarding all day, my friends and I hit up this great little establishment for a feed and look at the delightfully, delicious goodness, I was served. Divine!
