It makes a great morning and you can buy some plants on the way home.

Nestled in the Waitakere Hills, going to Titirangi Village feels like escaping the city. Once you’re done relaxing in a cafe or browsing the art shops in the town centre, head out to a nearby beach - Huia has a great fish and chip shop - to really get away from big city life. The best part? It’s barely a half an hour trip back to the city centre. If you plan your trip for a Sunday make sure you swing by the Titirangi Village Markets, an integral hub of village life.

Lovely location with a real hippy feel factored into the mix - Sunday's market showcases the best & freshest produce from local suppliers - from Mums to Farmers! Great way to spend a Sunday morning...!

This is one of the better markets around in Auckland.  They have a broad range of products selling whether it's clothes, jewellery, food, ornaments etc.  I like the fact that the products are quality and are quite often handmade.  Its a really relaxed place to come for Sunday and do a bit of shopping - before Christmas is great as there is so much on show and for great prices.  Its quite family friendly and there is a cafe inside and often live music of some sort.  Check it out!!

Titirangi market is a great market to buy NZ handcraft goods along with local produce, lots of jewellery, crafts, clothes, homewares and specialty foods. They have live music every month and also have a small cafe operating from the kitchen along with a stall holder selling organic coffee. Happy to support NZ made as its pretty good quality.
