Terrible service. Completely destroyed our curtain it all stuck together and ended up with holes in it. We could not use it and it was only 4 years old. They argued and charged us full price for the dry clean even though it was ruined and they would not back down. NEVER USE THIS PLACE there are much better dry cleaners across the road.
TLC Drycleaners do a superb job, I have taken expensive suiting and delicate silk dresses to them and all have come back looking great. They even held on to some pieces that I forgot about and kept them safe and sound. Service is alway cheerful and the prices are really reasonable. Highly recommended!
I am a regular at Ponsonby Road’s TLC Drycleaners, who are definitely the best in the area - if not the city. The staff are always friendly and their attention to the finest detail is amazing. I’ve taken them everything from frocks to down jackets and duvets ready for summer storage and all have come back cleaned, immaculately presented and totally cared for. Trust them with your delicates - you won’t be disappointed.
These guys used to be my local and even though I have recently moved house, and now have to travel by car to TLC, I still use them. I did use another place closer to me twice but a shirt came back with a stain on the collar so I switched back to TLC. TLC were even able to get the stain out! And the lovely woman behind the counter sews on my coat buttons for free! Be sure to grab a blue ID bag - it means you can just drop your clothes off without having to stick around while they count items, take your name and number etc. A great service.
