Need some Steak, its the right place to go!!!

This place was amazing! Seafood platter very good value for money. Service was excellent. Thank you

Tony’s restaurant is located in the handy city central spot which makes it a great place to meet up with friends or family if you’re like me and live at the opposite ends of Auckland from most friends. On this occasion I ordered the chicken breast which I had with mashed potato and salad. A simple dish but it was really good, I love pub food. The restaurant itself is great, it is very old fashioned pub-like/steakhouse (surprisingly as that what it is) with wooden walls and brick walls. Makes you feel like you are in an episode of Coronation Street but without those hearty accents.

My grandfather ordered the fish of the day and stated that it was "too stringy" whatever that means but he also has high standards for restaurants. If you are a steak lover, you must try Tony’s! Two restaurant in town. One on Wellesley at one on lorn st. You can choose chips or potato. Veg or salads. And wide range of beer and wine!

Served 4 very different tastes with one of the best meals in ages! A fabulous dinner spot for a night in the city - close to the Civic which is wonderful for rainy Auckland winter days.

I know this restaurant has been around longer than I've probably been alive but it seems a little tired. The service is fantastic and the food is more like nice pub food rather than 'top' restaurant type of fare. Not one of my favourite places but I do go to a few dinner invites there with friends/family and it's not awful so I would never decline the invitations based on the food.

Tony's is one of those comfy and easy places to half dinner out at - a breeze :)

It’s the best steak I’ve tastes in Auckland and the portions are huge!!! Loved the meal and remember to order a side of mushroom sauce as well!!
