Trainworld Napier offers families and train enthusiasts the chance to view some impressive scale model train layouts that include 'Lilliput’ (Napier's 60 year old model railway) and a British exhibit where you can take a journey through the English countryside on one of New Zealand's largest scale model railways.
Kids will be fascinated by the interactive 'Thomas and Friends' model with fabulous miniature people and buildings.
Take the opportunity to hop on ‘Brookie’, the indoor ride-on train or pick up a gift or souvenir at the fantastic hobby shop.

This has got to be the ultimate rail buff’s heaven - a world of model trains right in the heart of Napier! It’s great indoor entertainment for all seasons, with lots of interactive fun and you get a free train ride on Brookie. Trainworld boasts one of the largest 00 gauge model railways in the country, with up to 10 trains operating and a 60-year-old Lilliput model village and railway.
