great summer time food  :)

Fantastic meal and a fantastic night. Perfectly cooked lamb with a great red wine to match! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a taste of Turkish.

We always come here before we go to a movie in Newmarket and the food is always great.  We always end up getting the platter to share and it's such an amazing selection and a lot of food!  The lamb is so tender and the flavours are excellent.

We went to the Turkish Cafe for lunch yesterday. We shared a smoked salmon and capers pizza, plus a huge bowl of fries. We also had two drinks. The service was friendly, genuine and attentive and the food was scrumptious. And guess how much it was? $30 for everything - and we left feeling really full! I'd highly recommend this place before heading for a film across the road at Event Cinemas. I love finding little gems like this.

We often go here for dinner if we have a movie to catch at Event Cinemas Broadway. They serve all the usual Turkish fanfare. I always go for their mixed rice kebabs. Decently sized and the service is usually fast and prompt. The quality is a step up from your usual Turkish takeaway, but so is the price too.

The food is so yummy here , especially the platters and their distinct mix of  traditional Turkish and modern Mediterranean flavours, that  feel like I should be getting up to do a belly dance after dinner. Great cocktails, good food and plenty parking (most of the time) a definite good choice especially pre or post movie which is opposite.  On my fav's list.

One of my favourite Turkish places, particularly their Mezze platters. The Borek (Cigar shaped pastry with potato or spinacha nd feta filling) is awesome with Hummus and their special house sauce. Also a little different are the olives with mint jelly, but it's a combination that works incredibly well. Handily located opposite the warehouse parking is never an issue, keep in mind if you buy something cheap at the Red Shed you can use the receipt to claim 2 hours parking at no additional charge. Well worth a visit!
