Uncle Man’s is a cute little restaurant with amazing food and friendly staff. If you happen to be in Auckland city and craving Malay food, then this is the place to be. The menu has a range of different food; not only Malay but Chinese and European cuisine. Also the food is cheap ($7-15), they cook them fairly quickly and the portions is more than what you pay for (even better: there is a 10% discount for students!). I’ve tried a little bit of everything and if I had to only recommend one thing (difficult beacause everything was amaaaazing ) it is to order the roti and if you do, watch the person at the front make it because it’s completely different to the ordinary rolling of flat bread- this one literally flies up in the air. Overall this place is cute, cheap and fast where the food is amazing and staff friendly- it is very much well worth it to come and eat. This place will definitely be a regular of mine and I can’t wait to eat at Uncle Man’s again.
