Slightly larger and definitely a bit brighter than the original Cuba Street brother store. Viva Mexico in Newtown serves up food every bit as delicious, with the food extremely tasty and the service excellent. I enjoy the Quesadillas here, with a side of beans, they are super tasty!

Best tacos in Wellington. Absolutely love the vegetarian ones, with cheese! #MORtreat

This place is amazing! Especially on a hot day when you can sit on the top of the bus ( they'll even give you sombreros). Delicious, authentic, Mexican food. And my multi-lingual friends love speaking Spanish to the friendly staff.

Hot damn. Mexican done by Mexicans. Authentic. Delicious. Fresh. The fun staff are always happy and the food is always good. The courtyard is going to be great in summer.

Outdoor taco trucks, blaring Latin American music, amazing Mexican food and lovely staff. On a warm evening, Viva Mexcio Newtown is a must.

Viva Mexico's Leftbank outlet has long been a haven for simple and traditional Mexican food. With their recent Newtown outlet, they've finally found an environment that matches up perfectly with their delicious cuisine. While Mexican music (of a variety of styles) plays in the background, you can enjoy tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas and various other scrumptious dishes, as well as the all important Jarrito's Mexican cola, seated either outdoors on the picnic tables or inside their very own two story taco truck. On a warm evening, this is one of the better places to dine in the southern ward.

Traditional Mexican right here in Newtown! Get outta town. It’s delicious, it’s fresh, and the service is friendly. Love it!

It's nearly impossible to get a seat at the city Viva Mexico so it is welcome news that they have expanded to Newtown. Rather interesting surroundings of one trailer (taking orders and cooking) and one double decker bus make it that much more exciting. The tortilla soup was a nice change from my usual tacos exoticos, although I recommend pretty much everything on the menu.
