Woodhill Mountain Bike Park

Awesome place to ride!

Great MTB park, costs $10 for a day ticket, but the season passes are great value at about $120. Good mix of trails, but because of the forestry that has happened it is a 10 min ride to get from the car park to the trail head, but it’s a good warm up. Coffee shop and shop at the base, great place to relax after a ride. The do hire bikes and helmets if you need. Dogs not allowed at the weekends - sadly.

This is a great place for mountain bikers of all abilities. Only a 40 min drive from central Auckland, you can bring your own bike or hire one. They supply helmuts too. I love cycling through the forest and find it fun and relaxing. After a good hard ride I like to have a Jesters Pie from Pie van or a hot chocolate at the cafe. The staff here are really nice and helpful too. A great place for the whole family.

If you can do all the jumps and challenges here you are either very skilled or have no fear at all!!

Not super scary during the day - unless you’re a total daredevil and take all the jumps! However head out there on a Wednesday night for a night ride and really challenge yourself!

When I need some fresh air and excitement I take my bike out here for a couple of hours and get back to nature!

If you love to bike and love the outdoors then you’ll love this. Great fun outing for everyone. Simple setting, if you don’t want to ride somewhere nice to sit to read a book and relax while the family is out there. Great for birthday parties
