A good menu that offers up a good variety of new flavours that contrats well with the well known Canotnese cuisine. Love their burgers with distinct white buns that have a weird but tasty 'cardboardy' texture, and filled with a beefy burger mixed well with cumin.

There's nothing more satisfying than tucking into a bowl of Xi'an Food Bar's braised pork on hand pulled noodles, especially in the cold of winter. It's difficult to describe just what makes this bowl of noodles so perfect, but the combination of the flavoursome, spicy, slightly fatty pork, and the chewy texture of the rough, handpulled noodles makes this the top noodle dish in Auckland, in my book. Definitely worth a visit just to try this dish. Of course there's a lot of options on the rest of the menu too, and like most other Chinese places they have 20 dumplings for $8 (or thereabouts). Overall, you probably won't end up spending more than $10-$12 to get happily full on some delicious regional Chinese food. Highly recommended.
