Excellent dinner box with lots of sashimi and the main is delicious. The place packed out quite quickly, would be good to book.

This is a lovely restaurant to go to for a beautiful sit-down meal of sushi, or many other Japanese dishes for that matter. Authentic recipes, really friendly staff. The do take-away too and the food is beautiful!

Yaruki is a local Browns Bay favorite with quality Japanese food! Love their Green tea ice creams and bento sets. Definitely worth your moolah! Staff are always friendly and Yoshi (owner/head chef) is always really nice and friendly. Perfect for a little couple night out or just dinner with the fambam! :)

This has to be the best Japanese, excellent service, faultless food and presentation.  Make sure you book as it gets very busy.

friendly staff. very traditional decorations and staff outfits. very pleasant dining. food was really nice and was quick to be served. definate great time

After a day out at Wenderholm we decided a nice meal out would end a great day.  A quick phone call to Yaruki and we got a table (since it was pretty early we got lucky).  Arriving in main street Browns Bay we parked almost out front and entered this vibrant and clearly Japanese restaurant. Cute, fairly small but brilliantly vibrant were my initial feelings of Yaruki.  The charming and beautifully dressed Japanese staff showed us to our table and joined two together to give us plenty of room.  There were only a handful of about a dozen tables but the place was a lovely size.   We ordered a variety of dishes (since we had the kids and my Mother with us).  My starter was Japanese Gyoza - little crispy dumplings filled with something very tasty.  The kids got sushi and Katsu Chicken for their mains while we had a prawn teppanyaki dish and a chicken teryaki with tempura.  My Mother had the Katsu fish (which was beautiful pieces of John Dory).  Every meal was superb with large well presented servings and divinely tasting food.  The prices were extremely reasonable (many around the $15-$20 mark) with the entire meal for 5 coming to  $142 including house wines and soft drinks, and a yummy green tea ice cream for dessert which we all shared.   Superb food, excellent service and great prices in a vibrant atmosphere is what I call an excellent dinner spot.   But best book early it was pretty busy.

Always great Japanese food every time you go there you never get let down you always get good food! Well operated business.
