If you want something a bit different then Abracadabra Cafe & Bar is the place to go. These guys are open around the clock for food and the atmosphere is awesome. They offer a whopping six different salads, I’ve tried the spicy lamb salad and can honestly say it’s the best lamb salad I’ve ever had! This place focuses on middle eastern food, so you’ll notice that influence in their food.
Cafe by day and restaurant by night, with it’s Moroccan-inspired decor of cushions, throws, curtains and wrought-iron lamps Abracadabra feels like you’re dining in a far away, exotic land. Abracadabra do absolutely everything; from hearty breakfasts such as Huevos Rancheros (tortillas, beans, cheese, fried eggs topped with guacamole and salsa) through to a cafe-style lunch menu with dishes such as the Moroccan Steak Sandwich and Chermoula Calamari Salad. So whatever time you drag yourself out of bed you’re sure to have delicious food awaiting.
Abracadabra is another place that sucks me in by putting hashbrowns with their Eggs Benedict. Also, they use ciabatta bread, unlike many places that use cheap English muffins. Their bread is beautifully crispy and char-grilled. Also, completely unrelated to the eggs, I love the atmosphere and decor here.
