Apadana Restaurant & Bar

Such lovely staff, who always treat us as if we're special guests. And great, fresh food - you don't often see a mixture of Turkish and Italian on one menu - there's something to appeal to everyone, at very reasonable prices. To top it all off, the decor is gorgeous - dining at Apadana feels like a real occasion.

They are unique cultured restaurent. Variety of Foods to choose from. Also they entertain us by a belly dancer who dances for straight half an hour some nights. A very friendly and exotic dining. Highly recommended :)

Apadana is our neighbourhood treasure. With a menu of both Thai and Middle Eastern food, there's something for all tastes. The decor is gorgeous, the layout of the place means you can have your own special booth, and the staff are lovely. #karenmurrell

Absolutely love the seating arrangements inside and the entertainment that comes once or twice a week although if u want the entertainment make sure u make a full house because it is well worth the show!! I love Apadana and i think i make a group and go there at least once a month as the food is great! especially the chicken lasagna and pizzas!! service can be better and faster but otherwise great atmosphere and amazing staff

reat food. truly the best kebab in auckland. great service. the food is really only late if its a big group and if its a fri/sat night. otherwise its all really worth the wait. great music. really talented belly dancer (compared to a lot of not-so good ones ive seen before). the yoghurt drink is so yum. the whole place is authentic and lovely. had a cousin come from oz and fell in love with how original it is. i have held a big surprise birthday there and the staff was so helpful and great at attending a large number of guests. a great place for get togethers and lovely meals.

We arrived there on a tuesday evening to an empty place, but had scoped it out that day so was willing to give it a go. The wait staff was very friendly seating us and our first order came out within 5-7 minutes of us ordering which was awesome as we were starving! It definitely exceeded expectations. Our second course was brought to our table just as quickly, and was also really nice. Meals were in the late teens to early 20s in terms of prices which was quite good as the proportions were perfect.

I have driven past this restaurant for what seems like most of my life - yet today I finally went inside for the first time. The decor is amazing, particularly for this part of town - where functionality rules over style. We were greeted by a very friendly server, who, although our booking had been misplaced managed to find us a seat and offered a complimentary house wine - nearly enough to get a five star review in itself! The menu was almost overwhelming, with a great selection - it took longer to decide what we wanted to get as it did to wait for the food ! When our meals arrived I was very satisfied with the size of the portion, and the taste - amazing. Highly recommended for a family dinner, prices are good and atmosphere is as well. Awesome

We got a great daily deal voucher so booked and came here on Saturday night. The environment is authentic Middle Eastern, pleasantly so. We ordered the Mezze Platter trying to stay true to sampling Middle Eastern dishes. ($18) and was plenty for the two of us.  It had salmon, stuffed vine leaves, feta, humus, bread, turkish dip, sundried tomatoes, olives, pickles, smoked chicken, red peppers.  Wow impressive starter.  Very tasty. Then we ordered the combo chicken & beef shish kebab,(very, very tasty tender meat) and the King Prawn kebab with mushroom cream sauce.  That sounded like a very weird combination but it turned out to me ( this is very rare) one of my OMG dishes.  OMG it was GOOD.!!!!  I'm still craving it now. Only quibble was the speedy turn around between courses.... bit quick for me. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful service and wonderful food.  Fabulous!!! We will be back.  Soon I hope!!
