Aromas Coffee Lounge is a popular cafe located in central New Plymouth. Serving up a range of hot breakfast and lunch meals from their blackboard menu, they also have a cabinet of delicious sandwiches, paninis, pies, sausage rolls, cakes, scones and slices.

With a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and plenty of seating inside, there are also a couple of streetside tables where you can enjoy a coffee and cream cake while watching the busy world go by.

A great place to grab a quick bite without breaking the bank, regulars say their milkshakes are the best in town!.

Aromas Coffee Lounge is another busy place at lunch time. My cousin from Australia comes here every time she’s over for a visit, and I typically join her, the cheese and mushroom bread cases and to die for that we usually grab two! Not to mention they also do some of the best milkshakes around including cookies and cream which is my favourite. Sweet or savoury, this café wins for originality with their food and also for flavour. You can usually grab a few things and a drink for under $10; a great and cheap lunch right in the middle of town!
