The coffee here is always exquisite, they roast their own beans and I have never had a bad coffee from here.

Ben is a simple no fuss cafe. Every time i have stopped in Ben the coffee has been outstanding - never a milky or burned flat white. The interior is simple and the staff are friendly. Also, there is a sign hanging at the front of the cafe with my name on it.

Ben cafe consistently has seriously good coffee and good eats :) They roast their own beans and you can definitely tell they care about their coffee!

I've been frequenting Ben for at least three years, even after we moved offices and had to hike twice as far to get there... we still made it our cafe of choice. I've never known a cafe/barista to be so passionate about every aspect of coffee. I recommend showing up at around 10am when the place is packed and humming. You'll still get served swiftly and efficiently and your coffee wont disappoint.

Not only perfect coffee everytime (I’ve been visiting for about 3 years now) the staff are friendly and efficient too. I’ve never had bad coffee, service, experience here. In fact, I don’t think they know how to make bad coffee, or what that is, even.

One of my two favourite cafes on Fort Street (the other is Ima next door). BEN is for serious caffeine freaks, with a range of different types of coffee, different methods of preparation including cold steeped (which I've never tried but love the sound of). Service is slightly more detached and clinical than Ima next door, but the coffee is probably slightly better.
