We had quite a mixed service experience here - arrived at about 8pm on a Friday night and the dining area was half empty, but was told there would be a 30 min wait for a table. When I said that we would try elsewhere in that case, they persuaded us to stay and study the menu at the bar while they cleaned up and within 5 minutes a table was ready. From then on things improved, we got a much friendlier waitress and the food was not too bad for a gastropub style dining experience, though also nothing out of the ordinary. A highlight was probably the fries, which were deep-fried quite well, crispy on the outside and fully cooked in the middle. Overall, a good option if you're in the neighbourhood, as long as you don't get the surly waitress we encountered!
