Heading just a little further afar from Taupo, Rotorua’s Brew Craft Beer Pub is a great lunch spot for a day trip to Roto Vegas. The home of Croucher Brewing, your thirst will be fully quenched with an array of Croucher favourites. If you have a low alcohol tolerance, their 2.7% Croucher lowrider IPA packs the flavour punch while keeping you well under the limit (if you only have one that is).
I may be shot by die-hard pizza connoisseurs, but I had an amazing pizza the last time I was here. I must admit that I’ve only tried one, but man when you look at the menu the topping combination look so interesting. I got the gourmet sausage, capsicum, mushroom, jalapeños, tomato relish and natural yoghurt pizza. The joy of going her is that this place also has a rad atmosphere and AMAZING craft beers.
Brew was opened by the guys behind boutique beer company Croucher Brewing Co. so these guys really know their beer. Brew houses a unique selection of NZ craft beer, cider and wine. To go with this they have a great food menu with pub-style meals done with a gourmet edge. Hands down one of the best bars in Rotorua with an amazing local feel.
