Brew On Quay

Great upstairs level that is perfect for a private function. Have been for birthdays, anniversaries and leaving do's. Both inside and outside areas, personal bar staff and an easy flow thru the bar. Great music has made every night there perfect!

Great out door area for the sunny days (and large indoor area for the English to hide away from the sun)! Once again, a great evening, good music and just the right amount of busy.

This place is tops! Great place for a casual beer with friends no matter what day of the week. Always a good place to start if you are heading down to the Vector for a concert, or for a couple of beers afterwards waiting for the sober driver to collect the car from the parking garage across the road. We have had a couple of private parties upstairs on the deck which have always been a great laugh (beware of the fatal stairs though after a few wines!). Excellent spot for smokers and non-smokers to share the same space. We find the staff to be a good laugh and helpful, and the food great too! Try their hot chips and curry sauce (and don't forget to order extra)!

My favourite foodie mate and I are big fans of the craft beer scene in New Zealand (my original education in the likes being Coloradoan beers... worth a try if you're in the Rocky hood) so on the way to a function we thought it a good idea to pop in and see what Brew on Quay had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised how pub-like - and I mean, REALLY pub-like, not "Antipodean-take-on-the-public-house" idea - Brew on Quay felt. Genuine character and an incredible range of beers to pair with some pretty standard pub meals. All it's missing is the Queen's Head.

Love this bar,old converted police station with the interview rooms still in tact. It has the “pub” feel downstairs and the intimate trendy night club relaxed feel upstairs! With own private bar. Food is pretty good too, sirloin was cooked perfectly!!

Friends of mine hired the rooftop bar for a birthday party, I was a bit worried before arriving as the weather had been a bit inclement, but this is great! Most of the roof top is covered, you get your own bar they have heaters keeping you warm. They have some great beers here including a good range on tap (not all from one brewery). We also had a platter of food that was really tasty. I’ll definitely go back for a beer or 6 after work soon and will recommend itas a venue to others. They also have live music in the main bar and some big screens for sport watching.

We went to a 40th birthday at the rooftop bar at Brew on Quay. What a fabulous venue. You can hire the rooftop bar for a private function at no cost. It is the perfect size for a small to mid size gathering. When you don't feel like a full on party at home, but you don't want to go to the expense of hiring a hall or don't need that much space - this is your ideal option. Even on a rainy night there was sufficient cover to keep dry and it was cosy enough to not wear jackets. We arrived early to use our grab one voucher and we ordered a platter of bar snacks. We were happy with the food, it was deep fried bar snacks  - but they were tasty and not too greasy.

Have enjoyed several lunches at Brew recently, fills up quick during the lunch rush so we usually book a table the day before. $10 lunches change everyday and staff are happy to accomodate any changes to meals etc. Really like how the bar is divided into some smaller more private areas great for celebrations.

Great pub for a quick drink or a social catch up. Very spacious and lots of choice, choose from standard tables and chairs inside or outside, stools and high tables or great upstairs area. Huge selection of beers on tab and bottled.
