Selling fresh produce sourced locally where possible, you can find raw and gluten-free products, organic meats, homemade cakes, ice cream and gifts. With a real community feel, the store promotes healthy eating and stocks items specifically requested by customers. Established by a group of friends in 2002, the remaining co-op members were bought out by current owner Beryl in 2011.

Enjoy your coffee on the deck in a nice rural setting, or pick up dinner from the food van at weekends.

You feel healthier just by walking in to this place. It’s a bit of an anomaly in Kaitaia but it’s treasured by the health-focused locals and soon to be treasured by you too! As well as their generous creamy ice creams hand-scooped and served in crunchy waffle cones they have an awesome range of homemade meals and desserts with lots of vegetarian options thrown in. You’ll love it!

This great community hub is not your run-of-the-mill dairy. Stocking fresh, locally grown produce, handmade crafts, alternative health foods as well as icecream, milk and all the rest, and operating a free op-shop, this quirky little store is a delight.
