Butterfly creek is a great place to take the kids on the weekend. It’s easy to get to and there is lots of parking. Staff are friendly and the food is great. Great variety of attractions including crocodiles and farm animals.

My daughters preschool went here for a day trip and it was so fantastic. There was a large space available for the children to have a snack and leave their bags and there was so much to see. So many butterflies! The children had been learning about butterflies and found it absolutely amazing to see so many in one place. Butterflies were just landing everywhere. Watching the crocs being fed was quite a cool and different experience for adults and children and the staff were great and the place was very clean. even on a wet day the trip was lots of fun. we look forward to going again in the summer.

Been here a few times with our baby and toddler and we all love it.  Butterflies, crocodiles, farm animals, train rides, play area, trampoline, tractors, icecream, coffee, and adequate parking! Great stress free day that kept us all entertained.  Will probably go back a few times a year, great place.

This is one of my familys favourite rainy day activities. My child loves coming here and will get excited just at the mention of the place! The butterflies are lovely but they have so much more. Train rides for kids, cafe and eating area, and farm animals!! A friend of mine told me a while ago they even had baby crocodiles!! If you spend a day here, I guarantee You will not be disappointed!

I've been here a few times and the highlight is definitely the farm animals - there's always been a rabbit or 2 hopping about and you can buy food for the goats and the like. The staff in the barn are always very friendly  do a great job interacting with the kids. The butterflies are worth a visit as is the train and the playground is great so kids can run around and have a bite to eat - great that you can BYO or buy from the cafe. Definitely worth a visit.

LOVE Butterfly Creek! 'Home of the giant crocs' but also home of the giant rabbit... There's an enormously fat black rabbit usually hanging around at the back of the barn. Amazing. Looks like it eats small children...

It's not just about butterflies here (although the butterfly house is a decent size with lots of them), it's the farm animals and miniature train that the kids loved. It's one of only a few places that I know of that they can hold and pet baby bunnies and guinea pigs as well as see pigs, sheep goats and ducks. Of course, they now have the added attraction of two huge saltwater crocodiles, although they didn't seem at all keen to move or be slightly scary when we were there! There's a decent sized cafe with a good selection of eats, but it can get really busy, especially in school holidays. The location is also a fair way out of the city, right next to the airport. A pretty good day out though.

Good place to take the kids, a little far from where i live though

This is a great place to visit with kids! Lovely train ride and the butterflies are on of a kind!

Another great outing to Butterfly Creek. Great place to go on a cold winters day

i went to butterfly creek the other day with my neice and a friend. it turned out to be an alround experience that was quite enjoyable, we found ourselves at the cafe who served an incredable hot chocolate and chai latte, the little one enjoyed all the insects and things floating round her and wouldnt stop talking bout it for days to come. a great day out for the young ones and old ones alike.
