Buzz the Butcher (also known as the Westown Butchery) is a friendly New Plymouth butchery run by Murray "Buzz" Sattler. The experienced butcher (who is also a local sports enthusiast and coaches the Tukapa Colts rugby team) prides himself on offering only the highest quality New Zealand meats which he sells at competitive prices.

A frequent medalist at the 100% New Zealand Bacon and Ham Competitions, his tasty middle-eye bacon has become a real hit with his many loyal customers.

Buzz the butcher is renown in New Plymouth for his amazing bacon. He’s definitely the one to go to if you love your sausages because he is the absolute best at making them out of the whole of Taranaki! Buzz is such a nice guy too, and he can pretty much accommodate for whatever meat you need, whether it’s rump, scotch, or angus!
